vignerons.jpg “A wine tour of France,” that’s how this fair is described by its organizers. The independent winegrowers’ wine fair opened today in Rennes before concluding their tour of France in Nice in May. This fair brings together winemakers from twelve different regions. Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhรดne Valley, or even Provence-Corsica, so many regions with numerous flavors to discover. White, red, rosรฉ, or champagne, there’s something for every taste. “Every producer is here to inspire visitors to buy their product. They are here to allow visitors to better understand their wines and discover the terroir of the various wine regions,” explains Michel Issaly, president of the independent winegrowers of France.

“Showcase our products”

Twenty-four different estates will promote the wines of the Provence-Corsica region at the various fairs. For the Domaine des Olliรจres in Var, “it’s an opportunity to showcase our products to all of France!” The exhibition is in Rennes until Sunday. The winegrowers will then head to Lyon (February 4-6), Strasbourg (February 18-21), Bordeaux (March 11-13), Paris (March 25-28) before finishing in Nice on May 20, 21, and 22.
