The 10th edition of the Festival takes place in Cannes and will be sponsored by actress Chantal Lauby and Vincent Perrot.
The International Film Festival Entr’2 Marches will be held from May 18 to 24 in Cannes. It was created in 2010 by a team of film enthusiasts and people with disabilities. It is open to professionals and amateurs who can present their short films related to a form of disability. For this edition, 700 films from 90 different nationalities were received by the organizers.
Actress Chantal Lauby once again takes on the role of the Festival’s patron, a status she has held since 2014 after succeeding Georges Lautner. “I first heard about the Entr’2 Marches Festival from the inaugural sponsor, filmmaker Georges Lautner. He told me that alongside the Cannes Festival, Entr’2 Marches was a unique opportunity to discover fascinating films that often have too limited a distribution. Beyond a few works set for anticipated public success, much more ambitious and demanding short and feature films deserved a platform, and that is indeed the purpose of the Entr’2 Marches Festival,” she stated.
