Since 1988, a partnership between the City of Nice and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has allowed travelers who wish to do so to get vaccinated and/or receive advice before a trip abroad.
Following the health crisis, terminal 1 of the Azure airport had to close. In this terminal, there was an international vaccination center, managed by the City of Nice.
After several years of closure, Terminal 1 reopened on Sunday, March 27th. Its international vaccination center will also return soon, this Monday, June 27th starting at 2 p.m.
Two weekly time slots are offered to start: Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. They will be adjusted according to demand. Without an appointment, individuals will be attended to by a doctor and a nurse.
The vaccines offered are as follows:
- Against yellow fever
- Against hepatitis A and B
- Against typhoid
- Against meningitis (A, C, Y, W)
- Against tick-borne and Japanese encephalitis
- Against rabies
- Against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, whooping cough
Before the closure in March 2020, the number of annual vaccinations was between 4,800 and 5,000 per year, including 3,000 against yellow fever.
