During the “Open House” day of the Nice business school, IPAG Nice presented its new two-year program: The Master Media Manager. Numerous personalities were present, unanimously praising the perfect fit between this new master’s program and the current demands of the media, as well as communities and businesses.
It was first the Deputy Mayor of Nice, Benoรฎt Kandel, who highlighted “the importance of this training perfectly adapted to the current world and technologies,” while congratulating IPAG on this initiative and assuring it of support from the city of Nice and its Deputy Mayor, Christian Estrosi. Next, it was the turn of Deputy Rudy Salles to commend “a perfect alignment between the teachings offered in this new Master and the current needs in both the media and institutions.” Patrick Allemand considers this new program “indispensable, especially in the area of youth employment, as the media and multimedia world offers numerous opportunities today.” Meanwhile, Jรฉrรดme Vandamme will provide “full and complete support from the UPE06, which will actively support this initiative.” Finally, Lilia Parisot, representing the Nice Rectorate, concluded the interventions by “ensuring collaboration from Daemi and Clemi and numerous common projects in the future.”
Philippe Dorey, Director of IPAG Nice, and Franck Viano, one of the project initiators, concluded this launch conference by stating that “IPAG is not and will not be a journalism school, but wishes to offer this new program that will combine both media skills and their management. Indeed, a student graduating from the Master Media Manager will certainly know how to write an article, shoot images, or record sounds, but they will also have all the skills to manage them well.”
The launch ended with a drink that rarely lived up to its name as well as it did that night, that of friendship.
