In the context of the initiatives organized in Nice for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the Comites, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Nice, has organized a commemorative event for Sunday, September 25 in memory of “Sandro PERTINI,” a partisan and anti-fascist, as well as our beloved former President of the Italian Republic.
The event will be structured as follows:
– At 10 AM: Gathering of attendees at Piazza Wilson – Allée Sandro PERTINI in Nice (central area near Saint Roch Hospital)
– Performance by the city band of Vinovo (Turin)
– Speeches by the present Italian and French authorities
– Inauguration of a commemorative plaque (star)
– Musical conclusion by the fanfare
– Closing cocktail offered to participants by the City of Nice.
– Transfer to the Consulate General (72 bd Gambetta), where, in the inner gardens, it will be possible to participate in a convivial lunch (at a cost of €10).
