This Monday, September 2nd at 9 PM at the Espace Neptune at the Port, an original performance directed by Gérard Chambre will highlight the work of Jean Cocteau’s “Petit Théâtre de Poche” interpreted by Brigitte Fossey and Catherine Salviat from the Comédie Française. Francis Huster will pay homage to Jean Cocteau through a reading of his texts. An exhibition will be presented at the Mediatheque on his years spent in Saint-Jean at the Villa Santo Sospir and elsewhere.

The Théâtre de Poche is a major work by Jean Cocteau published in 1955. These texts reveal the endearing personality of the artist: his wit, humor, insight into details and portraits, the liveliness of his style, and the tender jubilation of his pen.
