This weekend will be dedicated to the July 14th ceremonies which, according to tradition, include a military parade or tribute at the war memorial, fireworks, and the popular dance (in many cases, canceled or transformed into another artistic event).
In Nice, since the tragic night of July 14, 2016, the fireworks have resumed lighting up the sky, but they have been moved forward by a day and are now part of the festivities’ program.
This pyrotechnic show – at the Quai des Etats Unis – will be a moment of unity and sharing for the people of Nice and visitors.
The theme chosen this year is “Renaissance,” a return to life, accompanied by hopeful music featuring some of the greatest classical music pieces.
