From work to strike…
Les Chevaliers du Fiel
รric Carriรจre, a doctor in sociology, and Francis Ginibre, a fine arts graduate, tried their hand at stage comedy about ten years ago in a cabaret theater in Toulouse.
Their airplane hijacking act was such a success that it became a hijacking of destiny…
Les Chevaliers du Fiel were born.
Thus, they decide to continue the adventure, between the Avignon festivals and tours across France, before trying their luck in the capital.
In 1996, they were billed at the Grรฉvin Theater. Planned for three weeks, they stayed for four months. The duo made their first television appearance on Michel Drucker’s show. Les Chevaliers du Fiel also launched their first parody, “La Simca 1000,” one of their trademarks.
The following year, they spent four months at the grand Palais des Glaces and also signed on to present a daily radio show.
In 2004, they released their DVD “Special Sud.” Two years later, the book “365 Funny Stories” was published. They also performed the play “The Assassin is in the Room” at the Rive Gauche Theater and later at the Dรฉjazet Theater. Nevertheless, the two friends have not forgotten their roots. They regularly reappear at the Avignon Festival at the Rouge Gorge Theater. Thus, “The Leaf Brigade” was created in 2008.
After a live broadcast on France 4, this show was offered to the Avignon audience with no fewer than twenty-four performances.
