According to an October 2016 report, the Antoine Lacassagne Center is certified by the Haute Autorité de Santé at the highest quality level, in category A, with no reservations or recommendations. This excellent result has been achieved for the 4th consecutive time.

This report follows the on-site visit by the visiting experts from the Haute Autorité de Santé, composed of 4 independent healthcare professionals (a health coordinator, two doctors, and a manager) from other French regions, who audited the 12 themes of the V2014 certification guide that include all the required criteria and parameters for ranking.

Founded in 1961, the Antoine Lacassagne Center is one of the 18 French Cancer Control Centers.

A private non-profit healthcare facility recognized as being in the public interest (ESPIC status – Private Healthcare Establishment of Collective Interest), the Antoine Lacassagne Center carries out public service missions in oncology: care, research, and teaching: university and post-university.

The Antoine Lacassagne Center handles all types of cancer and manages an active file of over 6,000 patients per year for 59,049 visits (2015 figures).
