In the context of the Week of Taste, Jacques Chibois, a partner for 20 years of the Gala des Dames de Lenval, prepared a festive meal with the children from the child psychiatry department of Lenval, in the brand new therapeutic kitchen set up thanks to the donations collected by the Dames de Lenval following the 2013 Gala.
The next Gala will take place on Friday, November 28 at 7:30 PM at the Palais de La Méditerranée. It will gather numerous personalities from the department, institutions, banks, companies, laboratories, and service providers, not to mention all the individuals who have faithfully supported the Committee of the Dames de Lenval for so many years.
It is an opportunity for Christiane Scoffier, president of the Dames de Lenval, to present all the operations carried out in 2014 thanks to the benefits of the 2013 Gala, which amounted to €106,000, of which €65,000 was dedicated to medical equipment and more than €35,000 to workshops, stays, and other therapeutic recreational equipment for the services.
The next gala is intended to fund two significant projects in 2015:
High-fidelity pediatric simulation mannequins for the training of pediatricians and paramedical professionals. This project is managed by Dr. Audrey Dupont, an intensivist at the Pediatric Hospitals CHU Nice Lenval.
The replacement of the pediatric ambulance donated 13 years ago by the committee of the Dames de Lenval, which has reached the end of its course. (€50,000)
And always, various workshops and therapeutic projects improving the daily life of young patients: Weekly visits by clowns from the Théodora association in the pediatric medicine department, annual equine therapy workshops, participation in Christmas for hospitalized children, climbing workshops, etc.
