In the Government’s program, is a reform to give women the place they deserve in a often reluctant world truly underway? A significant number of sports federations have mobilized on this topic, initiating a real reflection and developing a coherent, ambitious action plan for the Olympic period.

While some sports federations already have an integrated approach to gender equality in their operations and decision-making processes, others devote their feminization plan to conducting an assessment, which precedes the plan itself.

69 out of 107 federations have submitted a feminization plan (64.5%), including 71% of Olympic federations, 41.7% of non-Olympic single-sport federations, and 88% of multi-sport federations. The target for the second edition should be set at 100%.

Sports federations are mainly involved in 3 or 4 focal areas (40 of them, or 58%), and they most often implement their actions across the 3 territorial levels (40.6%)4, illustrating an awareness of the need to involve as many decentralized bodies as possible in the implementation of the feminization plans.

The investment requested by the presented plans is greater at the local level (60.9%), indicating strong expectations from the federations towards their clubs, as well as at the regional level (46.4%). However, 15.9% of federations have not planned any territorial adaptation of their plan.
