The latest musical events of Harmonia Mundi with Gérard Kurdjian

Latest News

This will be one of the last musical events at the Harmonia Mundi store, which is expected to close soon due to a restructuring of the entire network.

harmonia_mundi-3.jpg It is with regret that we hear this news because, once again, art in all its forms will pay the price for the profitability of commercial operations.

Having no further information, we will leave it at that, hoping for other initiatives and artistic opportunities for an audience that is certainly passionate, albeit probably not numerous enough.

The musical event taking place this Wednesday, June 26 at 6:30 PM will have the theme “Sacred and Music in Islam” by Gérard Kurdjian.

After presenting his latest work, “The Firebird,” on June 4 (which has nothing to do with the more well-known Stravinsky piece), a journey through Persian music illustrated by the most beautiful mystical Christian and Muslim texts, this musician from Nice returns to speak to us about an area in which he is one of the most renowned specialists in the Mediterranean basin: sacred music.
