Each year, this Young Creation Award of the City of Nice/Bernar Venet Foundation demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the artistic creators of tomorrow by notably facilitating their integration into professional life.
The winners of this edition are Mร Quentin Spohn and Alice Guittard, fifth-year students at the National School of Art of Villa Arson.
Quentin Spohn โ Young Contemporary Creation Award of the City of Nice, born in 1986 in Colombes, lives and works in Nice
He obtained the National Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts with praise from the jury, Villa Arson, Nice (2013), and has participated in numerous group exhibitions (since 2008)
He receives a creation grant of 1500 euros and will have access to a workspace at Spada workshops and accommodation for a year.
Alice Guittard โ Bernar Venet Foundation Award, born on April 12, 1986, in Nice
She obtained the National Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts with distinction, Villa Arson, Nice (2013) and has numerous artistic experiences and workshops in France and abroad (photographic trips to Mexico, USA, Peru, Iceland)
She receives a creation grant of 1500 euros, along with a studio apartment at Bernar Venetโs place in Le Muy.
The two young creators will be exhibited at the Galerie de la Marine in October 2014.
