The Museum hosts an unexpected invasion of mini Lego® figurines from June 7 to November 10. These small colorful constructions are nestled among the permanent collections, offering visitors an experience where brick craftsmanship harmoniously dialogues with the Museum’s natural treasures.
The exhibition is conceived as a naturalist walk, ranging from the coastline to the hinterlands, and reveals the incredible biodiversity of a territory renowned for its landscapes, both marine and alpine. Visitors will discover iconic mammals such as the wolf, deer, boar, and chamois, as well as a variety of birds, from majestic raptors to elegant waders and singing passerines.
But that’s not all. A playful adventure awaits visitors: they are invited to find the mascot of this group, a skateboarding bulldog, hiding among about twenty meticulously created scenes. Each scene offers a surprise and a touch of whimsy, turning the visit into a treasure hunt.
Mushroom villages, flower battles, and cabinets of curiosities, all built in Lego®, constitute the main themes of the museum. Concepts of biodiversity, endemism, the various threats to ecosystems, domestication, as well as the study and evolution of biodiversity, not to mention land management and pastoralism, are explored.
