Starting from early November 2018 and throughout the month, the Lenval Foundation is launching its fundraising campaign to the general public. This year, we particularly wish to fund new Pediatric Research projects.
The Lenval Foundation, recognized as a public utility since 1893, has the primary mission of “receiving all children, without financial conditions and without distinction of faith or nationality.” Lenval is modernizing and adapting to the evolution of pediatrics. The foundation comprises 21 sites and accommodates more than 62,000 emergency visits, 15,000 hospitalizations, and our surgeons operate on 5,000 children each year.
But Lenval also caters to 48 adolescents and young adults with multiple disabilities housed in full-time and part-time boarding, 50 specialized institute places for children who are deaf or have speech disorders, a social nursery caring for 42 children removed from parental care by administrative or judicial decision and supporting 12 foster families, an early disability detection center supporting over 300 children aged 3 to 6, an autism resource center covering the departments 06, 04, and the eastern part of 83, as well as a maternal and child protection center.
