The Lenval Foundation, pediatric hospitals of Nice CHU-LENVAL, has obtained for the fourth consecutive time the Level A Certification, awarded by the French National Authority for Health.
“I would like to congratulate the exceptional work and teamwork of the establishment,” expressed the Mayor, Philippe Pradal, surrounded by the director of the Lenval Foundation, Arnaud Pouillart, and the hospital team.
The Lenval Foundation had embarked on a process aimed at improving the quality of its care and services over the years. “We were very strict regarding our self-assessment,” admits Arnaud Pouillart. These efforts have finally been recognized, as the French National Authority for Health has awarded the establishment the “Certification V2014.”
It should be noted that this Certification V2014 is granted only after a complex procedure of evaluation and verification of the establishment. It has three levels of decisions, knowing that the hospital center has obtained the highest, Level A: “Certification without recommendations, reservations, or major reservations.” “But that doesn’t mean we will relax our efforts,” explains Dr. Christian Richelme.
However, although all the scores on the required criteria exceed 80%, the hospital center still has a weak point – the management of patient records. “It’s an issue we will address through digitalization. It’s true that the monitoring of patient records is important, but the quality of care is even more so,” specifies Dr. Christian Richelme.
The director guarantees that “this level of excellence will be maintained.” The staff remains highly committed and works actively in this process of improving care. The Lenval Foundation is required to submit an updated “quality” report every two years before the next review, which will take place in six years.
