This Friday at 7:45 PM, the lights will turn on at the Palais de la Méditerranée for the Nuit du Cavigal, an event organized annually by the Club.
On this occasion, three Cavigal d’Or trophies will be awarded to founding members who have long been leaders of Cavigal, two posthumously to Henri Vérola and François Finocchi, and the third to Jean-Pierre Vechambre, a member and leader since 1955.
The Cavigal is a multi-sport club born in 1943 from the merger of three clubs from Nice: the Casino, the Victorine, and the Gallia.
Today, with its 13 sections, 3,000 members, and several thousand former members, the club continues to uphold the “Cavigal Spirit” instilled by the great leaders who have worked so hard.
The club is chaired by Diego Noto.
