A true space for mediation aimed at teaching young citizens of Nice about the history and culture of their city, the Petite Ecole du Patrimoine opened its doors in October 2010.
Created as part of the Transmission Days, it has met with great success and has welcomed more than 2,400 students since its opening.
On the occasion of this glorious anniversary, you are invited to take stock of this first year of activities. It will also be an opportunity to present the workshops offered to children and to meet the mediators who cultivate their awareness.
Located on the premises of Chรขteau Elementary School, the Petite Ecole du Patrimoine offers a comprehensive mediation program designed and tailored for children.
The “Heritage” workshops are open to all schools in the City of Nice, primarily elementary classes, who are invited to immerse themselves, for a day, in the historical heart of the city.
Practical workshops complement these visits, allowing children to discover the Nice coat of arms, the equipment of the defender of the Chรขteau of Nice, the making of chainmail…
