The director Cyril Gelblat concluded last Thursday at the Rialto in his hometown of Nice the preview tour of his first film “Les Murs Porteurs”. It’s a human, serious film centered on a character, Frida, a 75-year-old Ashkenazi woman who is losing her memory, a victim of Alzheimer’s disease. Frida’s children, Simon and Judith, played by Charles Berling and Miou-Miou, face the challenge of watching their mother age in different ways.
Cyril Gelblat agreed to spend a few moments with the journalists from Web Tv Nice. He explains his film, the chosen title, and his little secret for convincing two “star” actors to take part in the first feature film of a young director.
