The gathering of the “great family of Azur sports,” organized under the aegis of the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes, aimed to bring together the presidents of the departmental committees during a seminar held in the amphitheater of the National Sports Museum (Allianz Riviera Stadium in Nice).

Significant topics were addressed: development strategies and actions for the Azur sports movement, information on employment, the CNDS campaign, and more.

Attendees were thus able to exchange views with the various speakers: Philippe Manassero, president of CDOS 06, Manuel Dureuil, vice-president, general secretary of CDOS 06, and Mounir Amraoui, project manager at the CLAIE agency.

In view of the major stakes in terms of promoting sports in the Alpes-Maritimes, CDOS 06 subsequently presented the projects for the next Olympiad 2017-2020.

Why this university for presidents?

“Because the Côte d’Azur is a land of sports of which we can be proud, together let us define creative strategies for great Azur sports events,” said Philippe Manassero, president of CDOS 06.

Sport is a unifier of numerous values and has a strong capacity to bring together different intergenerational populations. The presidents of committees inspire clubs, sports associations, and volunteers with the desire to give, to commit, to invest, to create.

It was an opportunity for CDOS 06 to gather and unite with a single ambition: to continue contributing to the development of sports in the Alpes-Maritimes.
