The General Youth Council (CGJ) is launching a “low-consumption school” challenge open to the 25 institutions of young general councillors from Commission 2 “Environment, Heritage, and Safety,” whose main theme is “Energy Management,” on a voluntary basis.
This challenge aims to raise awareness among students, teachers, and administrative and technical staff about energy savings to encourage the adoption of eco-friendly practices across the entire educational community and to reduce the water, electricity, and gas consumption of the institutions involved. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve a “low-consumption school.”
The challenge will reward the school that has best managed and reduced its consumption over three months and has implemented the most relevant and innovative awareness actions in terms of energy savings.
Yesterday, Eric Ciotti, Deputy and President of the Alpes-Maritimes General Council, presented and launched the “low-consumption school” challenge dedicated to energy savings, in the presence of Mr. Bernard Chastang, Head of the Don Bosco Establishment.
