This is the third edition of the Bal des Fous in Cannes, but the first year that partygoers will be made aware of road safety.
The event is scheduled for this last Bal of 2018, on the Riviera Terrace of the Palais des Festivals, this Sunday, starting at 4 p.m.
Summer season means partying and high-risk consumption. Locals and vacationers do not always realize the effects of alcohol and cannabis on their driving abilities.
The young Departmental Road Safety Interveners from G-ADDICTION Intercampus will raise awareness, at the request of the Palais des Festivals and the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, among the “fools” so that they remain lively on the dance floor but not on the road (breathalyzers, obstacle courses with alcohol impairment goggles, electronic breathalyzers, SAM mascot, etc.)
