Student Return: Increasingly Expensive Expenses in Nice According to FN Youth.
“Student generations thrown to the wolves of the system.” This is how the National Front Youth describes the student youth on the Côte d’Azur. With supporting figures, the party members estimate that the cost of the student return will see an increase of 3.09%.
Other sources estimate the annual cost to be 2,575 euros compared to 2,450 euros the previous year with an increase of 0.76%. This is the most expensive level after Île-de-France, which is pegged at 2,821 euros.
However, in this type of statistics, often the criteria considered are not always the same.
For the National Front Youth of the Alpes-Maritimes, the system clearly jeopardizes the university studies of these young people, many of whom will not have access to scholarships and will therefore have to find precarious jobs to finance their studies, or even resort to extreme means to earn money (student prostitution, underfeeding).
Thus fearing that some might resort to these means to get by, the National Front and the Blue Marine Rally have announced that they will vigorously fight this unacceptable situation and appeal to all young people finding themselves in a situation difficult to manage due to the increase in school expenses.
The National Front therefore desires deep reforms allowing the total integration of students. To achieve this, they would welcome the elimination of student mutual insurance, and also the removal of limiting scholarships based on social criteria, instead favoring in scholarship applications the merit of the student through their results.
The party of Marine Le Pen would also like to reform the LRU law, which according to them, forces universities to have a competitive vision. Finally, according to the FN, the baccalauréat should be reformed and more importance given to manual trades.
A vast field of action for these young people in search of involvement.
