Audoin Rambaud: The fair is the essential place for preparing your wedding in the best conditions. Over two days, we allow future brides and grooms to meet about a hundred exhibitors who can grant all their wishes!
NP: Can you give some advice to our readers for preparing their wedding?
AR: A wedding is a unique moment in a couple’s life. To ensure that it goes as beautifully as possible, nothing should be left to chance. Particular attention must obviously be paid to the organization. The first step is to find the reception venue. This step is fundamental because the most beautiful places are generally booked several months in advance.
NP: A successful wedding is unforgettable, a failed one as well… what budget should one plan for the organization?
AR: There are no set rules in this area! For example, for the wedding of Andrei Melnichenko, a 34-year-old Russian billionaire, celebrated at his Cap d’Antibes villa, the wedding cost 15 million euros…
However, we have noticed that generally, a sum of 15,000 euros is spent for a wedding of 80 people.
NP: Have you seen any new trends emerge in this year’s edition of the fair?
AR: A new profession is developing, that of the “wedding planner.” This originally Anglo-Saxon profession involves assisting future brides and grooms in planning their wedding from A to Z. This profession meets the needs of young couples who, due to their responsibilities, cannot always take the time to select and coordinate each service provider.
NP: Do you know the impressions of the fair’s visitors?
AR: They are delighted! By attending the fair, future brides and grooms were able to find all the service providers they wanted to organize the wedding of their dreams, but they were also able to compare prices and take advantage of exclusive offers!
