Concerned with proving that sport, health, and risk-taking are the foundations of his municipal policy, the mayor of Nice did not hesitate to take flight, accompanied by Dominique Estรจve (President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and two of his municipal councilors, in order to honor this widely practiced sport in the region, albeit not highly publicized.
The Cรดte d’Azur Parachuting School Center, which hosted this premiere, is the only school center on the Cรดte d’Azur with around 600 members from clubs in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Var, and the Principality of Monaco. The School Center offers various activities such as tandem jumps, accelerated freefall progression, or initiation jumps for beginners and relative work, freefly, freestyle, canopy formation, aerobatics, or even skysurfing for the more experienced.
