The McDonaldโsโข in Nice and the City will offer children aged 5 to 12 a day full of sports on Wednesday, April 25, from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, at Jardin Albert 1er, Place Massรฉna. The budding young athletes can try out five Olympic sports for free and discover, through fun workshops, tips on how to stay active all day. While having fun, the children will also be educated about the good habits to adopt to remain active at all times. Through this initiative, McDonald’s, with the support of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), aims to inspire as many people as possible to engage in physical activities.
A partner of the Olympic movement for more than 35 years, McDonaldโs, with the support of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, wanted to highlight the spirit of the Games. The McDo Kids Sport thus relies on the values and diversity of the Olympic Games’ disciplines to promote the benefits of sports to as many people as possible.
On the program: sports, fun, and good humor
Five Olympic sports will be available to discover or rediscover through twenty-minute educational workshops, supervised by state-certified educators: swimming, basketball, cycling, athletics, and judo. And because the opportunity to move is not limited to sports, the “move to win” workshop will offer children muscle awakening exercises, acrogym, and dance. The choreography learned by the children will culminate in a show where they will be the dancers, both late in the morning and in the afternoon.
