In these turbulent times where bad news outweighs the good, a few initiatives reconcile us with the desire for humanity.
This Saturday, the hyper-active Father Gil Florini will present the Promenade des Anglais medal, issued by the Monnaie de Paris and reprinted on this occasion.
The message is simple but clear: a place of tragedy and death on July 14th, the Promenade must remain one of beauty, tourism, culture, and above all, life.
The ceremony will take place on the forecourt of the Saint-Pierre d’Arène Church at 8 PM and will be followed by a recital of songs of love and peace sung by Father Gil Florini himself.
The proceeds from the sale of this tourist medal (€2) will be donated to the fund organized by the City of Nice for the victims.
