Nice Premium: Virginie, are OGC Nice’s media changing at the start of this season?
Virginie Rossetti: They are clearly evolving…
We want to expand the image of the Club as widely as possible, and to do that, we must be more present at all costs. Until now, our staff was more than limited. Thanks to an internal reorganization, we will finally be able to do real substantial work, in line with our ambitions.
We are already present in the city whether via the tram, on fast track and scaffold displays, and we are also on all the city’s buses, as well as in the towns and villages of the department. We are now launching significant local work, especially with merchants. For instance, the match program will be widely distributed the day before matches starting this year.
NP: OGC Nice TV becomes free, why this choice?
VR: Similar to the official OGC Nice Event magazine, which will now be offered to subscribers, we were looking for the ideal formula to provide fans, and primarily them, the benefit of the Media structure’s evolution. I think they will be pleased, as it’s a strong signal we’re sending them because the risks are significant.
NP: After the merchants, will we find OGC Nice MAG in town halls, tourist offices, or even the departmental Houses?
VR: We will evolve things to be as present as possible so yes, of course, these institutions are also being approached.
NP: New in the media, how do you, as a loyal supporter, analyze this new start to the OGC Nice season?
VR: Like every season, I remain very positive because in football, the beautiful thing is that there will never be an absolute truth.
Last year, after 4 matches, everyone thought Auxerre was in dire straits in Ligue 1. They are now playing in the Champion’s League.
So today, nothing and no one can stop us from dreaming!!!
NP: Finally, what do you wish for the eaglets and the club for this new sports year?
VR: I have the feeling that something strong is happening between the group and the staff… a real bond, a true shared desire. The supporters need to be behind the team because they truly deserve it.
I wish for all of us to live and share some very beautiful emotions.
