Deck chairs, parasolsโ€ฆ the perfect conditions for a musical late afternoon!

This Thursday, July 19, the MEDITANGO COMPANY will represent the MUSICAL NIGHTS OF SUQUET!

The Meditango Company is a collective of artists from the French Riviera coming from various artistic disciplines. It already has three shows to its credit. โ€œThe History of Tangoโ€ by Astor Piazzolla, where Gilles Saissi takes us to the heart of the artistโ€™s personality and tells the story of Tango with simplicity, humor, and passion. Nine musicians and four dancers enrich this story by exploring its universe.

โ€œBuenos Aires Counter,โ€ the Company’s second creation, is the place chosen by a waitress dreaming of becoming a Tango singer. She will illuminate this little corner of life with a moving lightโ€ฆ โ€œDreams of a Night in Buenos Aires,โ€ their third opus, reveals the touching story of a different Argentina, an Argentina that is not just about Tango.

At the Suquet Musical Nights, the Meditango Company will present its latest show โ€œMujeres,โ€ which challenges the codes of classical Tangoโ€ฆ This festival, created on the initiative of Gabriel Tacchino, an internationally renowned pianist, is the essential summer event for music lovers. Emerging from a maze of alleyways nestled in the heart of the old town, the forecourt of the Notre-Dame dโ€™Espรฉrance Church transforms into a concert hall under the starry and marine summer sky of Cannes. Two constants in the Suquet Musical Nights: the magic of the place and exceptional performances!
