The issued statement announces that “this measure will be open to all residents of the 49 municipalities of the Metropolis, totaling nearly 550,000 inhabitants. In the upcoming municipal and metropolitan councils, in November and December, a resolution specifying the terms of allocation will be voted on so that this measure can be implemented on January 1, 2019.
The allocation conditions are subject to certain conditions and restrictions:
Be an employee or civil servant with a permanent or fixed-term contract residing in the territory of the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur,
Reside more than 500 meters from a tram stop,
Not receiving a public transport subscription subsidized by the employer,
Have a driving distance between home and workplace greater than 10 kilometers,
Earn a net salary less than or equal to 2 times the minimum wage (as of January 1 of the current year), about €2,340 per month as of January 1, 2018,
