Last week, Christian Estrosi appointed the new General Manager of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office (OTM) in the person of Jean-Sébastien Martinez.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office therefore welcomes its new General Manager. Jean-Sébastien Martinez, with his 14 years of experience in various city services, is described by Christian Estrosi as “an undeniable asset to lead one of the major public establishments in our policies”. He is thus placed in a position with very great responsibilities given the importance of tourism for the economy of the Nice Metropolis.
What is the objective that the OTM aims for?
According to the words of the Mayor of Nice, the OTM “must contribute to developing sustainable and reasoned tourism, distribute tourist flow during the off-peak seasons while maintaining a dynamic attractiveness year-round, and attract new investors to continue the development of a high-end hotel sector.” The objective is clear: to further develop tourism and everything revolving around it, even during the off-peak periods in terms of tourism. Therefore, Jean-Sébastien Martinez is trusted to take on this challenge with the OTM teams.
