The MIDEM (International Record and Music Publishing Market) is THE major event for music and publishing professionals. But not only that: technology, advertising, and video games are also represented. They are an asset in the musical universe.
As every year for the past 44 years, it takes place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes for three days. Initiated by Reed Midem (a company that fosters business convergence through international professional markets), the music event is happening this year from January 24 to 27.
MIDEM is also an opportunity to discover the talents of tomorrow through concerts and artist showcases.
Show program:
For its 2010 edition, MIDEM highlights Africa. You will be able to attend, for example, the screening of the film “La Bohème” with Mirella Freini in the lead role. These shows are free, provided you have invitations. Where to get them? On Nice Premium! Your news site gives you a chance to win tickets for 13 MIDEM event concerts. To win your tickets, it’s very simple. Answer the question at the bottom of the article and send us an email at the mentioned address. You can also collect invitations at the FNAC in Cannes, Nice, and Monaco, on university campuses – BDE and associations, and at the Cannes Tourist Office on the concert day. You can also see the complete program of these three days.
But before the shows, the NRJ Music Awards kick things off…

MIDEM has also moved online
In parallel, the MidemNet has been held for 11 years. It is the meeting point for new technologies and new economic models in music. For the first time, it will be made freely accessible to all MIDEM participants. The Debussy auditorium will host several conferences bringing together the greatest experts.
