A vibrant exhibition
“Pop culture” or “popular culture” is a form of artistic expression that encompasses various aspects such as music, cinema, television, fashion, or literature, with the distinctive feature of appealing to a wide audience.
Right from the entrance, Marilyn Monroe welcomes visitors into a vibrant setting of colors, perfectly symbolizing the spirit of pop culture. The experience continues through a journey back in time, featuring cinema classics. Posters of iconic films such as “Rocky,” “Ghostbusters,” and many others adorn the walls. Busts of iconic characters like Rambo and Alita add to the immersion. All accompanied by an epic soundtrack, transporting visitors into an intriguing atmosphere.
The decor is meticulously designed throughout the exhibition, particularly in the space dedicated to the famous “Pirates of the Caribbean” saga. The busts of Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones are superbly highlighted. This is followed by the climax of the visit: an exclusive piece yet to be discovered, from a Tim Burton film that revolutionized the cinematic scene in 2001.
The visit beautifully concludes in the Marvel universe, with a series of superhero busts that will amaze many, as the representations appear so realistic.
Always with the same ambition of creating an immersive museum around cinema, Maxime Roussel has a month to build the largest network possible so that his dream can become a reality. He states there are no longer any limits to his passion for acquiring objects.
The enthusiastic reaction of visitors, especially children, testifies to the exhibition’s success. Maxime seems to be on the right track, even if the final goal has not yet been reached. “What I would like to do is create a cinema temple for film objects, signed by the actors.”
