Sporting is blowing out its 40 candles, it’s the age of maturity… and with the 2014 programming of the Summer Festival it offers a series of concerts by global stars, whose diversity enriches the content, honoring a glamorous tradition.

Whether it’s the most famous crooners like Julio Iglesias, Tom Jones, or Paul Anka to divas like Liza Minnelli…
But Sporting has always stayed hip and celebrated its era by hosting the stars of the moment. Once again this year, the impetuosity of the young talent finds its place with Lana Del Rey, -M-, Yodelice, and HollySiz, or Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
This anniversary is also an opportunity to celebrate rock and pop legends like Boy George, Texas, Status Quo, Neil Young, and Elton John… They all represent icons of multiple generations.
Sporting is the temple of live performances. Creation must reign there, with this year an exclusive lineup: Marcus Miller, Jeff Beck, Selah Sue, Booker T. Jones, Trombone Shorty, and Alex Han will deliver yet another exceptional concert for this memorable edition, which will see the return to the stage of the Jackson family…
For the 40th anniversary of the Salle des Etoiles, the 2014 Festival will host unique concerts in Europe featuring the likes of Robin Thicke and Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, who, from “The Freak” to “Get Lucky,” embodies these 40 years of music that have touched several generations.
Finally, Sporting will be more live than ever with 4 standing concerts: -M- + Yodelice + HollySiz, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Marcus Miller & Jeff Beck and Guests.
