A successful birthday evening to honor Giuseppe Garibaldi with opera arias that enchanted one of the most beautiful squares in the capital of the French Riviera.
As part of the ceremonies honoring the birth of Giuseppe Garibaldi (July 4, 1807), the Associazione Giuseppe Garibaldi, Nice branch of the Foundation bearing the hero of the Two Worlds’ name, organized a concert last night at the square named after him at 8 PM.
Two Italian artists delighted the audience with a lyrical program: tenor Simone Frediani accompanied by pianist Diego Fiorini performed opera arias by Verdi, Massenet, Puccini, and Rossini.
A large and curious audience attended this evening, which ended with applause for the musical performance.
