From March 23 to 26, the first edition of the Sérénissimes de l’Humour will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Over four days, the leading comedians of the moment will attempt to make the audience from the Azure Coast burst into laughter. Established favorites Elie Semoun, Franck Dubosc, and Les Vamps will share the bill with local act Noëlle Perna, Daniel Prévost who is making a major comeback on stage, and newcomers Tomer Sisley, Arrête de pleurer Pénélope, and the Italian transformist Ennio Marchetto. “I will keep the poster because it’s not every day that I can be part of such a program,” modestly declares Noëlle Perna, who has just filled the Olympia and sold 100,000 DVDs of her show.
The festival, orchestrated by the radio “Rire et Chansons”, in partnership with the Grimaldi Forum, the Principality of Monaco, and Amade Monaco, has a bright future ahead. A portion of the profits (€50,000) will be donated to Amade Monaco (World Association of Friends of Children). This money will help build a school group in Guinea. The organizers hope that the Sérénissimes will become a key event in the French comedic world. As proof, they are already planning the poster for the 2007 edition with the ambition of bringing Jean-Marie Bigard.
Alongside the Sérénissimes, Cyril Hanouna will host a show live and with an audience on Rires et Chansons on March 25 and 26 from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Karement restaurant (Grimaldi Forum).
