On this Tuesday, after 6 months of operation, Pierre-Paul Leonelli, the deputy in charge of cleanliness, will present the results of the Moulins recycling center. This initiative has contributed to waste reduction, raised awareness among the eco-citizens of tomorrow, improved the living environment by collecting and repurposing bulky waste, and facilitated professional integration. These are the successful achievements.
During this presentation, four European cities (Cordoba, Tallinn, Porto, Krakow) that are part of the INTERWASTE projectโInterregional and Environmental Integration of Waste Management in UNESCO World Heritage Citiesโwill be present to visit the facilities.
The objective is to improve local and regional policies for sustainable waste management in cities listed as World Heritage sites.
