The “green mountain” of the Alpes-Maritimes is getting a new sports complex. This indoor space will offer a fun and accessible way to discover mountain activities, aiming at learning, improvement, and professionalization.
After the artificial climbing structure at the Boréon site, and the launch last June of the first trail station in the Alpes-Maritimes, the General Council continues to develop facilities dedicated to mountain sports in Saint Martin Vésubie by creating a new innovative space for training and sports practice.
An innovative facility offering sports and leisure activities as well as services
The mountain activities area:
with a climbing space of 800m² ranging from the classic sports climbing concept to a fun, diversified, and accessible climbing concept for everyone;
6 canyoning workshops and 3 caving workshops offering a variety of scenarios.
The aquatic area:
with an indoor pool of 250m² offering 3 swimming lanes of 25m and an outdoor leisure space (free shape) of 150m².
A “well-being” area with a Nordic focus and a “fitness” area dedicated to warm-ups, training, and recovery.
A place for intergenerational sharing and festivities with the creation of a multipurpose room that can accommodate 280 people.
This complex is aimed at all types of audiences, including athletes, mountain professionals, families, and visitors to the Mercantour National Park, as well as school groups.
