The Movida Beach Open, the mixed Beach Volleyball tournament that will enliven Nice this weekend
For two days, the largest mixed Volleyball tournament in France will take place on Ponchettes Beach.
Nice Beach Volley and Movida have joined forces to organize the Mixed Tournament of the season: The Movida Beach Open
This Saturday, June 4th, and Sunday, June 5th, speakers, music, commentators, and photographers will animate Nice and its Ponchettes Beach.
During the two tournament days, the bar La Movida, located just across from the courts at 41-43 Quai des États-Unis, will host players and spectators who can come to celebrate the victories and recover from the defeats.
At the end of each day, La Movida will also organize themed evenings where volleyball players and the public will have the opportunity to share a convivial moment over drinks and music.
The tournament promises to be epic as there has never been so many registered participants in a mixed tournament.
The first day will start at 8:00 AM with the participants being welcomed by the organizers to explain the competition rules. The first matches will start around 8:30 AM and more than 24 mixed pairs will compete on this first day.
The following afternoon, the quarterfinals will begin with the final scheduled for 6:30 PM and the award ceremony at 7:00 PM.
To conclude the event and celebrate the victory of the winning team, a grand evening will be organized at the bar La Movida.
The winners of this tournament will earn 750 points, allowing them to qualify for the 2022 French mixed championship finals. The top 5 places will share a prize of €1,500.
