When itโ€™s Wednesday, itโ€™s cinema time. Today, we present our selection of films for the week, offering the best guidance in the dark rooms of the theater.

1. Angels & Co โ€“ Vladimir Rodionov

Vladimir Rodionov delivers a wacky and heavenly comedy featuring ร‰lodie Fontan, Romain Lancry, and Julien Pestel. Set in an atmosphere somewhere between The Visitors and La Citรฉ de la peur, the film follows two angels overwhelmed by their mission on Earth. A fast-paced rhythm, a cascade of gags, and divine satire make Angels & Co a true comic frenzy.

We cannot see them. They are always by our sides without us knowing. They are our protectors and guides… Welcome to the world of guardian angels! Paul and Lรฉa were never supposed to meet. But since then, they are irresistibly drawn to each other. Raphaรซlle and Gabriel, two angels who are total opposites, are forced to team up to set things right and prevent these two humans from falling in love. If the angels fail, ambitious Raphaรซlle can kiss her promotion to Archangel goodbye. As for Gabriel the slacker, he will be demoted and have to spend eternity on Earth. Hell…

2. In Bad Faith โ€“ Albรฉric Saint-Martin

With Pascal Demolon and Philippe Duquesne as a notorious duo of bad faith, Albรฉric Saint-Martin delivers a biting comedy filled with savory dialogue. Among lies, misunderstandings, and absurd confrontations, the film evokes the spirit of Francis Veber comedies with a modern twist.

An old-school notary must urgently save his dilapidated chateau and prevent his daughterโ€™s marriage to a pretentious golden boy. The fortune promised by a dying countess to a young bohemian artist could solve all his problems, provided the future heir becomes a good Catholic and falls in love with the pretty fiancรฉe.

3. The Musicians โ€“ Grรฉgory Magne

Grรฉgory Magne, after Perfumes, presents a delicate dramedy featuring Valรฉrie Donzelli, Frรฉdรฉric Pierrot, and Mathieu Spinosi. The Musicians explores the loneliness of artists, the beauty of gesture, and the necessity to reconnect with others. A film that is vibrant, often funny, and always touching.

Astrid Thompson finally achieves her father’s dream: gathering four Stradivari for a unique concert anticipated by music lovers worldwide. But Lise, George, Peter, and Apolline, the four virtuosos recruited for the event, are incapable of playing together. Ego crises follow one after the other at the pace of rehearsals. Without a solution, Astrid decides to find the only person who she believes can still save the event: Charlie Beaumont, the composer of the score.

4. The Red Kids โ€“ Lofti Achour

Lotfi Achour delivers a poignant social drama about the outcasts of Tunisian society, inspired by real events. With Ali Helali, Wided Dadebi, and Yassine Samouni, The Red Kids gives a voice to a youth without direction, but not without dreams.

While tending their flock on the mountain, two teenagers are attacked. Nizar, 16, is killed while Achraf, 14, must deliver a message to his family.

5. A Wonderful World โ€“ Giulio Callegari

With his absurd and melancholic tone, Giulio Callegari signs an offbeat dramedy led by Blanche Gardin, always irresistible as a disenchanted woman. Between social fable and bittersweet satire, A Wonderful World questions our collective illusions with a sharp finesse.

In a not-so-distant future where humans depend on robots, Max, a former teacher resistant to technology, scrapes by with her daughter using small schemes. She has a plan: kidnap a cutting-edge robot to sell it for parts. But everything goes awry. Along with this robot that exasperates her, she embarks on a chase to find her daughter and prove that some humanity still remains in this world.
