1. The Haunted Mansion by Justin Simien

Like Pirates of the Caribbean, the famous Disneyland park attraction The Haunted Mansion also gets its own story on the big screen. So they call on a team of pseudo-experts to rid themselves of these many lost souls. The family adventure film is suitable for ages 10 and up.

2. Rendezvous in Tokyo by Daigo Matsui

This highly anticipated Japanese romantic film features two characters whose destinies are intertwined: a professional dancer and a taxi driver in today’s Tokyo. A date is central to the plot: July 26. It is the date when these two individuals met and fell in love, but it is also the date on which they separated. The director takes us into the intimacy of this couple, allowing us to witness their seven anniversaries that follow each other but are not alike.

3. Sabotage by Daniel Goldhaber

In the face of the climate emergency, a group of young activists decides to take on the American oil industry, literally. They choose to sabotage a pipeline, a structure intended to transport oil across the United States. Regardless of the risks they face, taking action seems to be their top priority. This thrilling thriller is an adaptation of the book How to Blow Up a Pipeline by Andreas Malm.

4. The Hand by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou

Engaging in spiritualism is never a good idea when you’re not prepared. A group of teenagers thinks they can practice with complete mastery, unaware that their sessions will go viral for reasons that will soon get out of hand. With the help of a mysterious haunted hand, they think they’ve found a solution to cast spells. For everything to go well, they must follow one rule: do not hold it for more than 90 seconds. If this single rule is broken, the consequences could be dire.

5. Juniors by Hugo P. Thomas

The director takes us to the deep countryside to meet two teenagers who dream of more. Jordan, 14 years old, is bored; his mother, played by Vanessa Paradis, is rarely present because she is a nurse. He spends his time with his best friend Patrick, playing on a console named Jessica. When it breaks down, he decides to devise a plan based on a lie that will cause more damage than anticipated. Jordan decides to fake an illness to attract funds through an online fundraiser to buy another one.
