3. Kung Fu Panda 4 by Mike Mitchell (V) andย Stephanie Stine

After three adventures in which the dragon warrior Po has battled the most formidable villains thanks to unparalleled courage and martial arts skills, fate knocks on his door once again to… invite him to finally rest. Specifically, to be named spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. This poses some obvious problems. Firstly, Po masters spiritual leadership as well as diets, and secondly, he must quickly find and train a new dragon warrior before he can reap the rewards of his prestigious promotion. Even worse, thereโ€™s talk of the recent emergence of a witch as malevolent as she is powerful, Chameleon, a tiny lizard that can transform into any creature, regardless of size. Chameleon is eyeing Po’s wisdom staff with her keen and greedy eyes, intending to use it to re-summon from the spirit realm all the evil masters our dragon warrior has defeated. Po will need to find help. Whether he does or not remains to be seen, with Zhen, a corsac fox, as crafty a thief as she is quick-witted, who has a knack for annoying Po but whose skills will prove invaluable. To protect the Valley of Peace from Chameleon’s reptilian claws, this odd duo will have to find common ground. This will be an opportunity for Po to discover that heroes aren’t always where you expect them to be.
