The first French film for Woody Allen. It features Fanny and Jean. Two characters who have everything of the ideal couple: fulfilled in their professional lives, they live in a magnificent apartment in the upscale districts of Paris and seem in love like on the first day. But when Fanny accidentally meets Alain, a former high school classmate, she is immediately smitten. They quickly meet again and grow ever closer…
A dramatic romance featuring Lou de Laรขge, Melvil Poupaud, Nils Schneider, and also Valรฉrie Lemercier.

2. The Goldman Trial by Cรฉdric Khan

Cรฉdric Khan’s film tells the story of Pierre Goldman’s second trial in 1976. Already sentenced to life in the first instance for armed robberies, Pierre Goldman, a far-left activist, is the brother of the famous singer Jean-Jacques Goldman. The process of the trial was reconstructed by screenwriter Nathalie Hertzberg from newspaper clippings of the time. During his second trial, Pierre Goldman proclaims his innocence and becomes, within a few weeks, an icon of the intellectual left. Georges Kiejman, played by Arthur Harari, a young lawyer, ensures his defense. But very quickly, their relationship becomes strained. The elusive and provocative accused risks the death penalty, making the outcome of the trial uncertain.

3. Dogman by Luc Besson

Returning to directing four years after his last film, Luc Besson is back with a dramatic thriller. A work that mainly relies on the role of Douglas, played by Caleb Landry Jones. The film narrates the incredible story of a child, scarred by life, who finds salvation through the love his dogs have for him. To the point of adopting their way of life. A film dealing with dramatic subjects.

4. New Start by Philippe Lefebvre

A touch of lightness with this comedy by Philippe Lefebvre. In love with Diane as on the first day, Alain, played by Franck Dubosc, navigates his fifties without crisis. Even the departure of the children, he handled well. Diane, played by Karin Viard, less so… She enters this period with the feeling that she could die of boredom or anxiety. For Alain, who sees his couple faltering for the first time, it’s time to ask essential questions and take a major risk after thirty years of living together: leaving Diane to reignite the flame and the desire to rediscover each other. New Start is the story of an all-or-nothing love story.

5. Club Zero by Jessica Hausner

Club Zero addresses eating disorders in adolescents. Miss Novak joins a private high school where she introduces a nutrition course with an innovative concept, challenging dietary habits. Without arousing the suspicions of teachers and parents, some students fall under her influence and join the very exclusive circle of the mysterious Club Zero.
