The city’s cleaning agents collect 6 tons of waste per day!!!
This figure—declared by the Mayor of Nice during the presentation of a new and more efficient organization to address the consequences in terms of tourist attractiveness—is the result of citizens’ irresponsibility, always ready to criticize public services, except for being themselves the source of the failures.
There is, therefore, an urgent need to remedy this intolerable situation, and controls and sanctions should be put in place to block or minimize this scourge.
An initial intervention will be carried out with a hybrid depolluting boat equipped with a water cannon, enabling agents to clean the rock formations, the port breakwater, and the city’s beaches over more than 6 kilometers by projecting seawater.
Three depolluting boats also ensure the cleanliness of the water body by removing floating waste.
These maritime devices complement the missions of the Cleanliness agents, who take care of the maintenance of the linear area on foot.
