This Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 2 PM to 10 PM, the MUSEAAV (Museum Factory Space for Contemporary and Virtual Art) dedicates an entire afternoon to women. This event is organized as part of the third edition of the Women’s Day Festival.
At MUSEAAV, there’s no need for a Women’s Day to honor women. The theme of this afternoon is the sublimation of femininity in all its forms.
Hairstyling, makeup, massage, etc. All these activities will be available for free to female visitors at MUSEAAV. They can also try their hand at burlesque striptease and Indian dance and enjoy a Vintage Caprice fashion show. Later in the afternoon, they will attend the Misfits show presented by a stylist from Nice. The evening will conclude with the opening of an exhibition by international photographer Nath-Sakura, who will be present to showcase her latest works.

– 3:30 PM: Conference “Feminism is Humanism: Women’s Battles Throughout History” (hosted by Elisabeth Salvaresi)
– 5:30 PM: Introduction to the art of burlesque striptease (hosted by Lady Flo)
– 6:30 PM: Indian dance “Bharatanatyam” (led by Jesminda)
– 7 PM: Vintage fashion show featuring women’s fashion from the 1930s to the 1980s (organized by Caprice Vintage Shop)
– 7:30 PM: Opening of Nath-Sakura’s exhibition with a cocktail in the presence of the artist
– 8:30 PM: Lyrical/metal performance (Corhyn and Audrey) and Corset Parade (Limatagoth)
– 9 PM: Hairstyling show (presented by Misfits)
