At the Museaav, Agnès Jennepin offers a series of paintings whose geometric forms approach abstraction. It is by discovering the titles of each painting that one can restore the figurative reading. “Passion,” “Confrontation,” “Indifference,” “The Embrace,” evoke the few stages that punctuate the intimate life of a couple, describe the torments of love. The play of colored forms is highlighted by the accomplished technique and choice of materials. The luminosity of glass plays with the softness and nuances of stucco for tactile effects, silky like a caress.
