As part of the 50th anniversary of Franco-Chinese relations, the Department is organizing a year-long program of events that was unveiled at the departmental Museum of Asian Arts in the presence of Mrs. Jisong Yu, Consul General of China in Marseille.
Created by the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, the Museum of Asian Arts is a real link between the department and Asia. It is an emblematic place of the bonds that unite our territory with the Asian continent.
Temporary exhibitions complement the museum’s permanent collection by showcasing various aspects of Asian cultures.
Currently, and until October, visitors can discover the exhibition “Auguste François, a French diplomat in China 1896-1904.”
