The “My 3 Pantheons” by Gilbert Pedinielli at the Gallery

Latest News

Inaugurated yesterday and open until April 30, the exhibition “My 3 Pantheons” by Gilbert Pedinielli at the Gallery 10 Jean Jaurรจs.

The “Canvases” are free and unprimed. Watercolor pencils and acrylics trace a light and fragile theatrical decor, depicting the city with its archways, where the artist unfolds his “Pantheon”. Tacked to the wall, they move with the visitor’s passage and breath.

From Paolo Uccello to Paul Klee, from Otto Dix to Mayakovsky, from Picasso to Pina Bausch, Gilbert Pedinielli pays tribute to the artists who, from drawing to painting, writing to dance, sculpture to architecture, have illuminated his research and work. The artist’s ongoing concerns are evident in the 2 displayed periods: rigor and coherence, regardless of the theme or materials.
