Last night, one by one, the 103 caravans of the evangelical community that had settled during the night from Saturday to Sunday on the Arboras stadium were heading back to the highway towards Frรฉjus, where the travelers arrived shortly after 9 p.m.
Arriving, leaving for short stays but with high media coverage… One wonders why and if there is a “management setup” behind these travelers.
Where do they come from? Where are they going?
Is there no surveillance to precisely know their movements and prevent them within the framework of rights and the law?
The government’s inaction has been criticized, but the Prefect had just requisitioned four plots of land, despite the criticism from those who today appeal to the State.
Do municipalities fully meet the obligations regarding the reception of travelers? And these travelers, by refusing to settle in official areas, do they not know that it is the laws of the Republic that are being disrespected?
Christian Estrosi reminded that the City of Nice complies with the 2000 law which requires municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants to have a reception area for travelers. This facility accommodates 100 sites.
Ultimately, is there not someone interested in provoking some incidents and opening opportunities for that?
In any case, many questions remain without the slightest logical answer…
