On the occasion of the national architecture days, the Villa Arson will open its doors to you this weekend for two days of discoveries and workshops.


It is at the School and National Center of Contemporary Art that you can discover this weekend the journey of Michel Marot, chief architect of civil buildings and national palaces, who created the Villa Arson in Nice in the 1960s-70s.

On the program:

  • “An architecture to teach art” by Eve Roy, architectural historian, author, and lecturer
    (Saturday, October 16, and Sunday, October 17 at 2:30 PM)

– Screening of the documentary film Destination Villa Arson
Film directed by Jean-Luc Chaperon based on a proposal by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

– Camouflage workshop: workshops for young audiences
(Saturday, October 16, and Sunday, October 17 at 2:30 PM) By reservation

Héloïse Farago, a student at the Villa Arson, will be there to lead this workshop.

This event aims to represent architects in our society, as they are everywhere, all the time, within our schools, our gardens, our shops…
